OVERVIEW
My brother and I both share a creative career path, so when he approached me asking for a site, I couldn’t wait to get started. He was looking for a clean, sleek web presence to showcase his video portfolio, and to advertise himself as a freelancer. We have plans to launch a WooCommerce store that holds his stock video, images, and any other collateral he might want to sell.

THE PROCESS
This website is still in the planning and designing stages. The first step was to create a logo and a branding package for my brother. Once that was complete, I moved into basic wireframes, making sure my brother was happy with the direction it was going.
After he approved my wireframe designs, I moved into creating Photoshop comps. Because this project is still pretty early in the development, only a Desktop version exists at this time.
THE PLAN
Now that we have a look and feel complete, this site is to be built into a custom WordPress template so that my brother can log into the back end Admin Panel to add and edit content as he sees hit. I will be using HTML5 and SASS to put the site together, and Javascript / jQuery to create mobile navigation menus, sliders and smooth scrolling effects.
Once all of that has been coded, it will all be stuffed inside WordPress, and will utilize custom post types to better categorize his work.
Finally, to top everything off, a WooCommerce store will be created so that he can sell stock videos and other video assets. I am looking forward to starting this project up, and putting out a modern product for him.
